The Pacific Institute of Advanced Hypnotherapy is a
hypnotherapy training school devoted to providing the very
best, up to date training for every student. The course in
clinical hypnotherapy was officially given approval as a
recognized elective within the post-graduate family medicine
program at the University of Alberta.
We have expanded to a larger, new location at # 102 – 631
Columbia Street, New Westminster, British Columbia. The
Institute also includes a clinic providing private
hypnotherapy appointments with Certified Clinical
Hypnotherapists.
We are conveniently located only a few minutes walk from
either the New Westminster or Columbia Skytrain stations,
directly beside the Westcoast Massage Therapy School and a
short walk to the New Westminster Quay and beautiful
boardwalk beside the river.
Founder, Sherry M. Hood M.H., C.Ht. has personally
designed and written the curriculum to give students every
practical and theoretical aspect of hypnotherapy necessary
to be in private practice as a Clinical Hypnotherapist or as a
complement to an existing practice in the health care field.
The Pacific Institute of Advanced Hypnotherapy offers in
depth, experiential and practical training coupled with the
most up-to-date theory and client-centered approach. Text

Course Overview
| 160 hours total class time to complete all three levels. Homework and independent study are not included in this time frame. Students will be awarded diplomas for each level: Hypnotist, Master Hypnotist & Clinical Hypnotherapist. Graduates are then eligible for certification by the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association administered by the Pacific Institute.
